The Holiday Challenge ended on Jan 1 2022, but sign up for the newsletter to find out when the 2022 challenge starts!
Are you wanting to knit gifts for the holidays but don’t know where to start? A little overwhelmed by all the choices and that firm deadline of December 25?
I’ve been there, too!! I found that the best thing for me was a firm plan of action, so I’m doing a 10-Week Holiday Maker’s Challenge. We did this last year just for crochet, and this year I’m doing a knit challenge, too!! I would love for you to come along with me to crochet a perfect handmade holiday.
I know many of you are eager to make for your friends and family this holiday. While I know some of you have already started, some of you struggle with this. It’s easy to get overwhelmed with deciding what to make and having everything done by Christmas.
But I can help! I love to set bite-sized goals to get my projects accomplished on time and I’m here to help you do the same! You will also receive helpful guides and FREE pdf’s for the challenge!
The 2021 Holiday Maker’s Challenge will help you get those holiday gifts finished on time! Our Challenge officially starts October 18, but you can join anytime up until Christmas Day!
WHAT MAKES ME THE ONE TO HELP YOU?
Ok, confession time.
I am a total procrastinator!!
I tend to wait until the last minute and rush to get things done, always wishing that I could be one of those people who plan ahead. With publishing deadlines (and Christmas!) this became a big issue for me.
So what did I do to help with this? I created a challenge for myself that helped pace my holiday making – and it was a success. Last year we had over a thousand crocheters join us on this journey. This year, I want you to join me on this new knit challenge!
I’ve been designing knit and crochet patterns since 2011 and I’m here to help not only with deadlines and bite-sized goals, but also with some special FREE pdf’s that will be available as downloads – but only to those in the challenge.
So here’s my story: I started designing as a way to help bring in some money while I was home with the kids (I do work full-time, but wanted to bring in some extra income.) But I was quickly overwhelmed with the amount of work and the looming deadlines for projects.
So I had to break down my projects into reasonable daily and weekly goals. This worked! If I stayed close to my schedule, I didn’t have to pull all-nighters anymore to send in a project (or pay for overnight delivery!)
I will be sending you the detailed step-by-step plan to tackling those knit gifts with less stress. I’ll show you how to break your projects into mini goals and feel accomplished when you complete those – and get your gifts done on time!
Together, we can make this the best handmade holiday yet!
HOW DOES THE HOLIDAY MAKER’S CHALLENGE WORK?
Just sign up for the challenge (it’s free!) with the form at the bottom of this post. You’ll receive a welcome email with our challenge calendar and a goal-setting guide sheet with a weekly checklist.
Every week, you will get an email from me with our weekly challenge, tips, and an assignment. I will also be sharing a special vault where I will put the 8 FREE downloadable pdf’s that you can use to make for the holidays – but only if you are part of the challenge!
If you’re also a crocheter you’ll enjoy double the patterns because they are all in the same special vault! Woo hoo!!
I’ll be working on my gifts right alongside you, and I’ll be sending you photos of MY holiday makes as I do each assignment with you. Those in-progress photos will only appear in my emails – you will not see them anywhere else on the blog! You are welcome to send me photos of your progress as well – I’m happy to be your accountability partner as we work towards our deadline!
We can do this together!!
Enter your information below to get started!
You will receive your calendar and goal-setting sheet – immediately after joining. Remember, it’s FREE!
You CAN do this. I am here to help and guide you. The weekly emails serve as positive reminders to prompt you to take action. No one is going to judge you if you don’t get all your planned items done on time – even one is a success!!
I look forward to sharing my holiday crafting journey with you via email… and I hope you’ll share your makes with me as well.
