Looking for an easy crochet stitch with amazing texture? Try out the Textured Checkerboard Stitch!

Stitch Abbreviations
Chain (ch)
Single Crochet (sc)
Front Post Double Crochet (fpdc)
Yarn Over (yo)

Notes
To keep from having open stitches behind the fpdc stitches, I worked my even rows into the back loop of the skipped stitches and the post double crochet stitches (see video for help). This kept me from having unworked stitches sticking out the back of my work.
