This is a book you will turn to again and again, whether you are a beginner or an expert crocheter. The Crochet Answer Book has all the answers you need!

This is NOT a sponsored post.  I am sharing things that I personally use and love – no compensation whatsoever!  This post does use affiliate links, though, to support my free patterns and more great posts like this one.

When I was first learning to crochet I bought quite a few books and other things I thought I “needed” that turned out to just take up space.  Today I wanted to share one of my favorite crochet books that still gets used when I have a problem or question: The Crochet Answer Book by Edie Eckman.  This little book has been a lifesaver for me, especially early on when I wasn’t that comfortable with many crochet terms, techniques, and problems.

I started out as a knitter, so the first book like this I bought was The Knitting Answer Book by Margaret Radcliffe.  I liked it so much that one day when I was at a craft store and saw it’s crochet companion I immediately jumped on it.  I didn’t even have to think about it!

On the front of the book it says “solutions to every problem you’ll ever face, answers to every question you’ll ever ask.”  The Crochet Answer Book does have pretty much everything you could want in a book, plus it’s small enough to slip into a tote without taking up much space (it’s 4.4 x 1 x 6.3 inches!)

The Crochet Answer Book walks you through crocheting supplies, foundations, basic stitches, gauge, working in rows and rounds, how to read a pattern, finishing techniques and more!

If you have a question, it probably has the answer right at your fingertips.  No searching the internet checking out several webpages before you (hopefully!) find the answer to your question.

If you’re like me, you like to have a print reference around.  There are very few books I have purchased and actually kept over the years and this is one of them.

If you are a beginning crocheter, the Crochet Answer Book is for you.  If you’ve been crocheting for a while, this book is for you.  Even if you are an expert crocheter, I really think you will find something you love about this book.

If you click here you can look inside, check out the table of contents and see if it is something you might like.  Try it, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.  I know I sure haven’t been!

Be sure to check out all of my free crochet patterns here, and use this book to help if you get stuck!

Stop by and give Edie some love at her website!

Happy Crocheting!
