Unbelievably Easy Crochet Texture! The Wattle Stitch (One Row Magic!)

How to Crochet the Wattle Stitch

What You’ll Need

Yarn: We Crochet Wonderfluff Ombre or other yarn of choice

Hook: US Size J (6.50mm) or hook size for chosen yarn.

Notions: Yarn needle, scissors

Stitch Descriptions and Abbreviations
Chain (ch)
Single Crochet (sc)
Double Crochet (dc)

Wattle Stitch Tutorial

(For a custom size, any multiple of 3 will work for this pattern)

Row 1: Skip 2 ch (counts as sc), *(sc, ch 1, dc) in next ch, skip 2 ch; repeat from * to last st, sc in last ch; turn.

Row 2: Ch 1, sc in first st, skip dc, *(sc, ch 1, dc) in ch-1 space, skip sc and dc; repeat from * ending with (sc, ch 1, dc) in last ch-1 space, skip next sc, sc in last st; turn.

Repeat row 2 to desired length.

Fasten off.

Weave in ends.
