Columbia Chevron Super Scarf Pattern by Two of Wands

There’s just something about chevrons that really appeals to me. Maybe it’s the fact that they are actually really easy to crochet. Even beginner crocheters can quickly get the hang of increasing to form the peaks and decreasing to form the valleys.

Plus, a lot of chevron crochet patterns use just basic crochet stitches like single, half double, or double crochet. And yet, despite their relative ease, chevrons always look kind of fancy to me. Whether you are crocheting stripes of all in one color, the bold chevron design has a way of standing out in a crowd. We even have a few lovely lace designs for you today that showcase the chevron stitch pattern in a whole new way!

You’ve probably seen free chevron crochet patterns for blankets before. Or maybe you’ve seen chevron patterns for shawls. It might surprise you to see just how versatile chevron patterns can be. As it turns out, chevrons can pull off just about anything!

We’ve got a fantastic variety of free chevron crochet patterns for you today with scarves, bags, pillows, wearables, bags, accessories and more! Sit back, relax, start scrolling, and get ready to be inspired by all of the beautiful free chevron crochet patterns we have in store for you today!

1. Chevron Lace Wrap

A lace wrap is just the thing for brisk summer mornings on the porch and chilly summer evenings out on the town. This beautiful pattern is surprisingly easy. My favorite part is the two row repeat, since it’s so easy to memorize. This pattern is also quite accessible. It’s available in written, charted and video instructional formats.
