Design Story and Inspiration for this Cluster Stitch Blanket
I am totally in love with this yarn and have decided to make beautiful textured gradient blankets in as many stitches as I can! This stitch is one of my favorite simple textured stitches, and it worked out great with this purple.
As with all my other gradient blanket patterns, I chose to write this pattern in 11 different sizes, from lovey to king.

Yarn Options for This Easy Crochet Blanket
Like several others in my gradient blanket series, I chose Lion Brand Mandala Gradient for this blanket. It works up wonderfully and is super easy to care for, making it an ideal choice for blankets that might end up in the washing machine (if you’re like me and hate to hand wash!).
This is a worsted weight yarn (category #4) but it works up more similarly to a bulky weight in my opinion, but that could just be that I choose a larger hook with these textured stitches!
Feel free to use any worsted or bulky weight yarn you’d like for this blanket. One of the best things about blankets is it doesn’t matter if they are exactly the size mentioned – so it’s up to you if you swatch or just choose one of these sizes and go with it!
