Design Story and Inspiration for the Feather Stitch Blanket
I love textured crochet stitches, and it never ceases to amaze me how many different ways there are to work them. This is one of my absolute favorite textured stitches, so I thought it was a wonderful stitch to create a blanket.

Yarn Options for a Textured Crochet Blanket
I chose Lion Brand Mandala Gradient yarn because I love the color changes and it worked so, so well in this design. This is one of my favorite bulky yarns, but I do want to caution you that this stitch does use up some yarn!
You can use any bulky yarn that gets gauge (and getting gauge is totally up to you with a blanket!). This is a category #5 yarn.
