10 Free Crochet Patterns to Help You Get Organized

If you are like most crocheters, you end up with quite a few supplies over time.  Hooks, measuring tapes, stitch markers, yarn needles – and that’s not even including a stash of yarn!  I’ve been looking into organizers that I can crochet to better organize and today I want to share with you my favorite 10 free crochet patterns to help you get organized.

Free Crochet Hook Case Pattern

Crochet Hook Case from Crochetverse
This is amazing!!  It is even color coded for the Clover Amour hooks, which I love.

Free Crochet Basket Pattern

Chunky Crochet Storage Tubs from Mollie Makes
This clever basket includes great photo tutorial showing each step.

Free Crochet Organizer Pattern

Colorful Carryall by Delores Spagnuolo
Another clever way to store your hooks!  Maybe your favorites in here?

Free Crochet Yarn Holder Pattern

Sheep Yarn Holder from Cute and Kaboodle
This is a great way to keep your yarn tangle-free while you work.  The front looks like a sheep, too!

Free Crochet Hook Case Pattern

Star Hook Case from AlliCrafts
I like how this one has no pockets so you can easily customize it for any size.

Free Needle Case Crochet Pattern

Nifty Needle Case from Moogly
This is really clever – I am always searching for my yarn needles!

Free Crochet Yarn Holder Pattern

Crocheted Wrist Yarn Holder from Tandy Imhoff Designs
This clever little bag will keep your yarn from tangling, and you can work from both ends for double stranding.

Free Crochet Hook Case Pattern

Leentje’s Crochet Hook Case by Marleen Hartog
These flaps fold over the hooks and also serve as organizers.  Love it!

Free Crochet Basket Pattern

Diamond Trellis Basket from Make My Day Creative
This stitch pattern is beautiful and creates a firm fabric that works great for yarn storage.

Free Bag Organizer Insert Pattern

Bag Organizer Insert from Knit Possible
This was used as a purse organizer, but I think it would also make an amazing holder for hooks and supplies, too.

So, there we have it – 10 free crochet patterns to help you get organized.  A couple of these might only help keep you organized for one project, but it’s a start!  Once you start crafting it’s kind of addicting and you end up with a TON of stuff to organize.  I hope you are inspired to create something that will help you organize your life better.  🙂  I know I’m always trying to help with mine!

Happy Crocheting!

Amanda

Thank you so much for the adorable baby boot pattern, and for the organization patterns. I really need something to keep my hooks all together,.

OMG where was this when I searched everywhere for a pattern for my crochet hooks? I did end up finding one I made, but definitely going to make a couple of these! I have tons of hooks that need a ‘proper’ home. Thank you very much for these. *Blessings *Stephanie
