Itโ€™s boot season yโ€™all! You donโ€™t need to run to the store to snag the trendiest pair. You can make them for yourself using these amazing free patterns for crochet boots. While youโ€™re at it, you can make a pair for the kids too, because we have curated patterns for you in all different sizes. Make matching pairs or choose a unique pattern for each person so their crochet boots can be as unique as they are!

So how do you crochet boots anyway? Itโ€™s really not as tricky as you might think. The majority of the free patterns we are featuring today use only basic crochet stitches. Itโ€™s honestly kind of amazing when you think about it, that the most simple of stitches can create the most stunning pairs of crochet boots! If you have your basic stitches down and youโ€™re comfortable crocheting in the round, then you should have no problem accomplishing these designs.

Of course, if you are a more experienced crocheter thatโ€™s looking for a challenge, then you are in for a treat too! We have a handful of free patterns for crochet boots just for you. These patterns will knock your socks off and really stretch your crochet skills. Thereโ€™s nothing quite like that feeling you get when you finally finish a difficult project and you get to show off your creation!

Most patterns for crochet boots are meant to be worn like slippers, but this list does include a few patterns that have flip flop soles. The ones with soles you could totally wear out of the house – just maybe donโ€™t walk in any mud puddles. You can grab some waterproofing spray at the store if you want to make them a bit more durable. For the ones without soles, you will probably want to put something on the bottoms of the crochet boots to make them less slippery. Iโ€™ve seen people use puffy paint or hot glue with excellent results!
