Learn to create a beautiful stitch with the crochet tulip stitch – a stitch that creates its own border as you go, no edging required! What could be better than that?
I love the crochet Tulip Stitch. The slanted stitches create an almost corner-to-corner (c2c) crochet effect.
Common Questions about the Crochet Tulip Stitch
It’s definitely one of them!! The reason is that it creates its own lovely scalloped border on all sides, as you can see from the easy project below!
The only stitches you need to know to crochet the tulip stitch are chain, single crochet and double crochet. This easy combination of 2 double crochet, 2 chains and a single crochet make up the tulip stitch.

Oh I like the Paris Stitch name! I’ve only heard it called the Tulip Stitch. 😀 Good to know! I might add that name in to the tutorial.
