One of my favorite things to make in the past year has been baby booties. They are so quick to work up and make great gifts – plus they get rave reviews at baby showers. I recently did a published project that inspired me to whip up this simple pair of ballet slippers. I have a good friend from high school who is a dance instructor now and I always wanted to make her daughter a pair of slippers but I used to not know how to make baby booties. I thought they were hard! Too bad I didn’t realize how easy they are – her daughter is 7 now and probably wouldn’t appreciate a pair of crocheted slippers. π
I guess this is my outlet for girly things since I am in a house of boys – but I won’t stop designing baby girl dresses, booties, and more! I do have some designs in the works for my boys, but for now I hope you enjoy this free crochet pattern.

I wish I could print the patterns so I don’t have to sit at my computer and try to crochet.I’d rather be in a comfy chair
