Cooler weather has finally arrived for us! It has been in the 80’s and almost 90 for most of October so I have had to really motivate myself to knit or crochet. Now it has finally cooled down this week and the highs are below 60! I’m just hoping we don’t go straight from summer heat to cold. I love fall – it’s my favorite time of the year – but some years in Tennessee it almost skips fall temperatures completely and it’s so disappointing. Our leaves are changing nicely, though, and will last into the middle of November. It’s such a wonderful time of year!
This is also the perfect time to be crafting for the holidays. I’m working on teacher gifts for my three boys and busily making some baby things for our next little guy due right after Thanksgiving. It’s a busy time around here! I hope you are planning some fall and winter knit or crochet projects – you can get lots of inspiration by viewing my other free knitting or free crochet patterns. π

This particular pattern was not what I need just now, but I did glance at the pattern.
I noticed that several of the abbreviations were unfamiliar. It would be useful if there was also a list of equivalent abbreviations.
